It is reported that Haruki Murakami, the Japanese novelist, the author of Norwegian Wood, The wind-up bird chronicle and IQ84 is leading the race for the the Nobel prize in literature or the year 2012. Close behind him are the Dutch writer Cees Nooteboom and the Chinese writer Mo Yan.
