Must watch movies this Autumn.





                                   BARFI

 India's official entry for category, best foreign language film for the 83rd Academy awards, Anurag Basu's movie 'Barfi' is a must watch romantic comedy. After the phenomenal movies, Life in a metro and Kites, Anurag Basu has done it again. The plot of the movie 'Barfi' revolves around Barfi, a mute and deaf boy, played by the versatile actor, Ranbir Kapoor. The story unfolds through a series of flashbacks. Barfi meets Shruti Ghosh played by Ikeana D'cruz and falls in love with her but Shruti is married by her parents and moves to Kolkata. The romantic story turns into a suspense thriller as Burfi is accused of kidnapping Jhilmil Chaterjee, played by Priyanka Chopra who is an autistic grand-daughter of  the richest man in town.
Set up in Darjeeling with excellent photography and great musical direction with music and background scores composed by Pritam, Burfi is a must watch.

                                  ARBITRAGE

Directed by Nicholas Jarecki, Arbitrage is a drama genre movie with its plot mostly revolving around Robert Miller, a sixty year old hedge fund manager played by Richard Gere along with Susan Serendon, Tim Roth and Brit Marling. Robert Miller who is desperate to clinch a deal get's caught in a situation involving a car accident. Equally appreciable is the silent role of his wife played by Susan Sarandon. Arbitrage is a must watch movie after a long time from Hollywood studios.
