Hallucination.

While many people hear voices at various stages of their life, they avoid believing that it is hallucination. Most of the Medical fraternity too takes this as an illness. However, it has been established that hearing voices is not an illness and also that while many schizophrenia patients do hear voices but the inverse is not true. All those who hear voices are not necessarily schizophrenic. Oliver Sacks, a renowned neuro-scientist  has had a long experience with a lot of patients and has thrown brilliant insight in his recent article on Seeing things? Hearing things?
